Pleasant Enough All the Same, Production Notes

This is Stefano hanging a portrait one night last week. He's the fella that made this entire MCA project possible, really, and has been with me every step of the way during the process. He is also the guy that makes sure all of the people who are photographed are actually cool with having their picture on the wall, which works out well for me. He also has a great eye for displaying the photographs, which again is beyond helpful. In addition he's teaching me Italian. Curse words, mainly.

Il Padrino, originally uploaded by Christopher Hiltz.

This is how the installation looks after the first week. I'm not sure if I mentioned this, or if it has been clear, but all of the images are printed at 4 x 6. When this is all finished I hope to have (at least) 9 rows of 30 framed photos, totaling 270.

  1. Thanks for sharing how it's all coming together. From a distance, it looks like a bit of braille, almost.
